Famous Fashion Designers

Giorgio Armani was born in Piacenza, Italy in 1934. Armani began his fashion career as a simple window dresser at a large Milanese department store, La Rinascente. A few years later and a whole lot wiser, Armani realized that he could incorporate his naturally-gifted sense of style and form his own fashion company – but this dream wouldn’t be realized right away. Armani sells sunglasses, fragrances, makeup, shoes, handbags, jewelry, clothes, and more. Finally, Forbes Magazine declared Armani to be the world’s most successful designer in a 2000 issue.
Louis Vuitton came onto the scene in Paris circa 1854. The brand started primarily as a developer of high-end, handcrafted leather luggage. Shortly thereafter, their handcrafted handbags quickly became a huge hit with many of the women in France. In 2008, the name Louis Vuitton is synonymous with high fashion. And most of their stardom has to do with the classic handbags they sell, but they also offer shoes and other accessories. The Louis Vuitton name is no stranger to fashion enthusiasts around the world. And since the mid 1800s, many people have been well aware of their overall presence and influence on subsequent style.
DKNY [Donna Karan New York] was created by American designer, Donna Karan and has a sophisticated but fun style. The label’s new collection features in House of Fraser and consists of lots of winter styles, including gorgeous cardigans and jackets. The DKNY label has many different brands, including DKNY Active, Kids and Baby.
Calvin Klein is one of the best known designer brands of the world and all this was reached because of his unique style orientated at practical design clothes without exaggerating jewelry and other accessories. He was the first designer who created unisex fragrance [CK One] and the first line of designer jeans is also under the label of Calvin Klein.
Dolce and Gabbana; or D & G as it is also known as, is a famous Italian fashion label created by two dynamic individuals. Dolce and Gabbana is famous for it’s clothing, jewellery, footwear, with a large slice of the sunglasses market. Many of the clothes designed by the label are black in colour and the look is always sexy, young and extremely vibrant.
